Angela Beallor

ABOG Author

Angela Beallor (b. 1979, Cleveland, Ohio), artist and writer, is a red diaper baby from the Rust Belt. She received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Advanced Photography from Bard College-International Center of Photography and a B.S. in Photo Illustration and Journalism from Kent State University. Questions from a background in political work, photojournalism, and documentary continue to weave their way into her work. From 2009-2010, she was a co-curator of the reading series From Here to the Corner. She is a 2013-2014 Jerome Foundation travel grant recipient and is currently researching and designing her Autumn 2014 trip to Lithuania, Belarus, and Russia. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York and would really like to live on a collective farm some day.
